Definitions: ----------- Steps of Lumi procedure: STEP 1 - Final beam energies (Detectors are in the working positions ) STEP 2 - "Luminosity Run" declared by HERA ( end of HERA lumi tuning ) STEP 3 - H1 in full operation ( essential trackers on ) STEP 4 - End of HERA "Luminosity Run" HERA_lumi - integrated lumi produced by HERA H1_Run_lumi - HERA_lumi during H1 runs H1_data_taken_lumi - H1_Run_lumi, dead time corrected (H1_Run_lumi*(1-DT)) The 3 integrated luminosities described above are calculated by the Lumi system continuously during each Lumi Fill (STEP 1 - STEP 4) and permanently displayed in the Lumi Run Summary ( shrs command or in WWWW ). Each Lumi Fill has a unique Lumi Run number defined by the Lumi system. Lumi Run is a synonym of a successful Lumi Fill. The following integrated luminosities are presented in the Lumi Run Summaries and in The Lumi Statistics table ( shls command or in WWWW ). HERA_total - Integrated lumi produced by HERA at final beam energies HERA_delivered - Integrated lumi delivered by HERA since "Luminosity Run" declared ( end of HERA lumi tuning ) H1_runs - HERA_delivered lumi during H1 "full operated" runs H1_on_tape - H1_runs lumi, dead time corrected (H1_runs_lumi*(1-DT)) Efficiencies (calculated for every Lumi Run): H1 operation efficiency - H1 runs/HERA delivered Dead Time correction - H1_on_tape/H1 runs H1 total efficiency - H1_on_tape/HERA delivered HERA4H1 efficiency - HERA delivered/(MaxSpLumi*Integr.ep_convolution)= = HERA delivered/HERA ideal delivery (with maximum possible specific lumi for the Lumi Run) -reflects the lumi loss between Step1 and Step2 and quality of lumi tuning.
